Renault launch RS28
Renault launched its 2008 car, the Renault F1 R28 and its driver line-up at Renault’s communications headquarters in Boulogne-Billancourt. Renault has changed both the drivers from last season, and Fernando Alonso returns to the team along with rookie Nelson Piquet. After having a bad 2007 season, Renault would be optimistic over the new season with the return of former World Champion Alonso who won both his titles with the French team. Nelson Piquet, son of three-time Formula One world champion Nelson Piquet, should do well as he has proven himself over other standards of racing. So Renault does have a good driver line-up and if the car does well and is fast the team can very well start returning to the top again.
