Toyota launch and Force India driver line-up

Toyota launched their 2008 contender at their base in Cologne, Germany. Jarno Trulli and his new team mate Timo Glock, who replaced Ralf Schumacher, and third driver Kamui Kobayashi were present at the launch. Toyota would want to improve on last season and start getting on the podiums often.

Force India also announced their driver line-up for the new season, Giancarlo Fisichella will join Adrian Sutil to form their line-up, it was confirmed on Thursday. Vitantonio Liuzzi has been signed as the team’s test and reserve driver with no sign of Narain Karthikeyan. Fisichella, now in his 13th season of Formula One career, having been dropped by Renault at the end of last season, would be a big asset for Force India has he has vast experience and young Sutil should be keeping Force India competitive if they are able to provide a fast and reliable car.
