Chelsea signs Anelka
Chelsea has signed Nicolas Anelka from Bolton Wanderers according to BBC for £15m. After being talked about much in the media recently, Chelsea finally signed him just a day before the Saturday matches. His ninth team since making his debut for PSG in 1995, the 26 year old is known for changing clubs as often as managers are these days in the premier league. How long will he stay at Stamford Bridge? Your guess is as good as mine, although he has signed a four-and-a-half year contract at Stamford Bridge. But anyways, Chelsea has signed a good player, and with some key players missing to take part in the African Cup of Nations, his arrival will certainly help. Didier Drogba and Salomon Kalou, are both out for Africa Cup of Nations, while Andriy Shevchenko is injured.
